In this beautiful silence
From the sky a bright crescent is shining,
Snow is sparkling on the branches,
Stars are glistening in heavens.

On the snow-covered forest trail
Lighted by the silvery glow of the stars
Three snow flakes
Are quietly whispering and singing

What a wonder in the clear light
One is more beautiful than the next
Are flying by the window
Of a lonesome house

A black cat is sleeping by the fireplace,
On the stove the kettle is boiling,
The candle is burning and her fire
